xBelle Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Hi Please help. After renaming my admin folder as suggested, I have had 2 issues arise: 1. When I log into admin the box showing recent customer orders has disappeared :o 2. When I go to "Tools" I receive this message - Error: Backup directory does not exist. Please set this in configure.php. :( I am sure there are simple fixes for these issues, but it is beyond me. Many thanks in advance!

I checked the file above and it appears correct - that is if there are meant to be only 2 places where "admin" would be changed with "new admin name".

xBelle Posted November 9, 2009 Author Posted November 9, 2009 yes, but also check your local folder & any htaccess files the only reference to local i found was a folder named /public_html/osc/includes/local - and it only contained a readme file. I checked all the htaccess files and only one /publi_html/osc/*newly named admin*/.htaccess - had any reference to admin.
