"PIck'n'Mix" in OSCommerce

Firstly, please accept my apologies - I'm new to using OSC, and although I'm learning a lot, I know I've barely started.

 

So, here's my question. I have a store which sells various food and drink products. With some of them, what I'd like is to be able to offer the customer the option of customising a multipack. So, for example, I'd have a '6 packs of sausages' product, and the customer can choose the flavour of each of the packs - 2 chili and 4 garlic, or 3 chili and 3 red wine, or whatever.

 

I suppose there would be a couple of ways of doing this. The simplest would be to have a free text box, on this product alone, where the customer can explain which flavours they want. The other would be more complicated - to have 6 drop-downs, each listing all of our sausage flavours, and the customer picks the flavour they want from each.

 

Is there a module which provides either of the above functionalities? Or, is there a better way of doing this that I haven't even thought of yet? I'm sure OSC will allow me to do this; my main problem is not even knowing what sort of search terms to use when looking for a module that might help!

Product attributes does allow you to have selectable options, there are various mods that will make it easier to maintain, easy populate you can upload the options to a product search the contributions for product attributes.
