Kevin360 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I ship lots of things at very different weights and prices.. from a 20x20x36" that weighs 60lbs box to a 4x4x6" box that weighs 2lbs. I used the shipping table to get pretty accurate results in the US, but I've gotten a few orders from overseas... it always causes a problem when I write back to tell them that my shipping is set for US, and that they'll have to pay more for shipping. How can I set this up?? Is there a module for it, or I can just not let other countries checkout?? I'd rather not do that, but I don't get many orders from overseas. Most of what I sell doesn't make sense to ship overseas (the big boxes cost more than the product)
Xpajun Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 First of all make sure that your shipping module that you are using says that it is shipping for the US only Second set the module to only show when the shipping address is in the US Third find or adapt a module that you can use for overseas shipping and make sure it is set for overseas shipping only - zones (as in shipping) can be adapted for this allowing you to set different prices for different countries. My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0 I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 ) I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary
