snowrabbit Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I am quite new to OS. Does anybody know that after all store configuration are done, how can I backup my store template structure and build a zip file like a template? ---Could be easily installed again anytime in the future.

After installing & configuration use an FTP program to FTP the store folder and all subfolders to your PC. Zip that fils and , VOILA! There you are. :) If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. There you are. :) Thank you very much! But it will not have the "install" file like other template you downloaded, isn't?

To "install" it on another server just unzip it locally then FTP all the files to the new server. Change the /includes/configure.php and /admin/includes/configure.php to match the new environment, populate the DB, and it should be working.
