Public Meeting in London

Hi All..

 

We are enquiring at a few locations to hold a public meeting in London for Thursday 10th Friday 11th December. This would be a casual no-presentation meet-up to meet, mingle, and have a drink with the community, store owners, and developers in London, from around 5pm to open-end. This will be officially announced as soon as the location and booking is confirmed.

 

Please reply here if you're interested in attending - suggestions for locations are also welcome!

Hey Harald, that sounds like a good idea. I would be interested - not sure on a location as I am not in London, but from Cambridge, its not too far!

We have a great location already which we'll announce tomorrow or Monday when the booking has been finalized and confirmed. We also have great guests attending which we'll also add to the announcement.

Have to say it was excellent to put faces to names - nice to meet up after so many years.

 

For anyone interested; We spoke about the past, present and future of osCommerce - and I believe that the future of osCommerce is looking promising. As well, we spoke about some of the forum "characters" and some of the people who are no longer at this forum. It was very good!

 

It's not often that we get the chance to meet the developers of software applications, so if you ever get the chance to go to one of these meetings, it would be worthwhile to try your best to do so.
