Guest Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Please help... I just built a new site.. The entire site is extremely slow and so it the admin area... every page load takes 5 to 10 seconds.. Cannot figure out what is going on.. I would expect a site getting slow down buy mass products.. But I currently on have about 600.. My Site Please any suggestions.. What am I doing wrong.. Maybe something to do with the database... Even phpMyAdmin for MySQL is extremely slow looking at the database tables....
Guest Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Nobody have any Ideas.. I dumped my complete site.. Deleted the database.... Then loaded a complete fresh install of Oscommerce... Then created a completely new Database... It is still extremely slow... Is there something wrong with my web host severs.. I am hosted with Globat...

I was slow after the rebuild then found some reading on commenting out the Banner module since I don't use it... The speed of the site increased 100 fold.... Something was screwy with the banner setup.. Now I have to reload all my 2000 products.. Loads of fun...
