Is there any module or way to give discounts based on product margins?

Hi,

 

I have been looking for a way/module to give customers discounts based on product price margins. I have seen modules that let the user discount based on quantity. I am using margin reports module so in my database I have a cost and sale price along with a margin value so now I would like to simply give % discounts from the product margins. How can I achieve this?

Hi, the cost and sale price on each product are different. So what I would like to do is apply discounts to pure margin ( sale price - cost price)

Is there anything I could use for this?

I am using margin reports also, so In the database I have a field "margin" so now all I need to do is apply a discount on this variable rather then total cost. Easily said not so easily done with limited php coding knowledge
