Robbhp Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 please go easy on me as noob does not even come close to how little i know LOL. We have an OScommerce based webpage that has what we comically called 'The mystery shopper'. the problem first started around 12 month ago after an update to a newer version of OScommerce after the older version just died and has persisted ever since. The probelm will crop up very randomly but a good 6 times a week, it add products from the old webpage on to the the customers order although it will not charge them for the incorect additions to the order. it will also send them the email confirmation with the incorrect items on there aswell. the last bit of oddness is the fact that the incorrect items are alway the first few items that are on the invoce, so to find out what is not correct you just start at the bottom of the invoice and work up untill you get to the payment total. Please help as this has now gone past a joke ! from what i can se it looks to be picking up the infomation from old webpage, although i don't know if this is even possible ? Many thanks ROB

Unsure what type & software versions is your server (admin/server info)Easyspace do all are hosting what add-ons have you added. not many maybe a Paypal add-on but thats about it as above very basic webpage a link would be invaluble too. www. lstshop.co.uk hope that helps
Xpajun Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Are you using your original database from the old store - just wondering if you may have a corruption within it somewhere. By the looks of your frontend it appears that you are running a standard install. The problem is within your admin (possibly your database) so a link doesn't help much Is it the same articles being added or are they different each time You don't say how or why you original osC died - which may give a clue as to why you have the problem My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0 I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 ) I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary
♥geoffreywalton Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Just a thought... Did you reuse the original db and clear down the orders file and the continue trading? Or did you transfer over some data from your old site to the new one or restart the order numbers from a lower one than the db was prompting? This could leave information on the db for higher numbered orders and as your reach the order no it "appears" on the order/invoice. Another one is how many records are in your sessions table? There have been posts about that needing to be cleared down but as dbs with over 5000 tables some containing over 6 million records are in use it is more server processing rather than a mysql problem.
