Hello all, I am totally new to OSCommerce so please bear with me as I have taken over this project from someone else. I have gone through the process of setting up a downloadable product. I get all the way to the checkout sucess screen, I click on the link to download my file, the download begins, but immediately fails with this error message:

Internet Explorer cannot download download.php from <mysite>

Internet Explorer was not able to open the internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.

I just can't figure out why in the world it would try to download the php file itself instead of downloading my file in the download folder. I have even tried the file that comes in the downloads folder called unreal.zip and still have the same issue. I have searched the web for many days and tried several things, but I can't seem to find anyone that has run into this same issue. Please, can anyone help or offer any insight on what might be going wrong? Thanks in advance!

Have you set the Configuration option in the Admin to allow downloadable media?

Have you set the Configuration option in the Admin to allow downloadable media?

Yes. In the admin menu, on the downloads item, I set enable downloads to true. I have url redirect set to false if that matters any.
