Adding attribute options globally... ?

what is the easiest way to add a option to an attribute for all products... Lets say I sell shirts.. I have an attribute for sizes.. Within the sizes I have the following options,small, medium, large.. Now I want to add Extra large... To all prducts... I have over 2000 prducts.. Don't want to have to add this option to all products individually... That would take for ever... I currently have th clone attributes add-on but still would have to apply to every product..

By using easy populate you can easily update product with its attribute.

 

The other way is create a dummy product add this attribute to that product and modify code to merge product attribute with dummy product attribute( this needs coding but reduces data base redundent entries).

You can use Attributes Clone Tooland then you only have to set up ONE product and clone the attributes to the rest.
