Categories (Drop-down show differently, or solution to Categories Menu)

Hello,

 

I require this help on a customized OSCommerce for Categories Menu, the problem is that the drop down menu that is being used on the website doesn't show exactly below the categories in Google Chrome, however works fine in IE8, FF.

 

Similarly when I tried another menu, namely Drop Down Menu - it showed varied design that is, it would work fine in Google Chrome, and would actually not show at all in IE.

 

I'm in a fix since I do not know much about OSCommerce itself when it comes to customization.

 

Further, if I plan to use JQuery for the Menu, which has maximum compatibility, how can that be done - JQuery Menu Website - I'm not getting what do I replace in Categories.php etc for it to work well since the directions given on this website is for HTML which works fine there, but when it comes to usage in OsCommerce, I'm not really getting how to put in the files and how would it call this class.

 

I have been trying this for so long and can't really figure out, so any help would be appreciated.
