Deemar Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I'm looking for a way to change my store so that people cannot register themselves, they can only be registered manually through the administrator. Is this possible? I went through the list a few times and didn't see it. Quote
web-project Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Is this possible? I went through the list a few times and didn't see it. possible, simply modify and remove the register links and forms. Quote Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
Deemar Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 That worked perfect, thanks. But now there is no way to create users in the admin backend. It might be because the template I'm using is a bit of an older one but now there is no way to create a user at all. Is there a contribution for adding this? Quote
stClem Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Looking for this to. But one "problem" is if you only remove the link on the front page, there is no guarantee people dont register them self by writing the create_account.php adress. Quote

Deemar Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 You're seriously asking me the same question I created this thread about? If I knew that I wouldn't have created this topic. Quote
Deemar Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 Got it. I searched my computer for the contribution I downloaded months ago and it's called Account Create In Admin. I can't find a link to it in the contributions but I did find this: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5388 Quote
