Multiple boxes/cases conflict FedEx

I ship multiple large packages per individual product SKU. Is there a module that allows me to specify multiple packages per product, including weights and measures? Further, is there a module that allows me to ping my shippers (FedEx, etc) with these multiple individual cases or boxes?

 

Further, apparently the OSC checkout cart pings FedEx with a lump-sum of all weights and acquires for the customer a set of freight options based on that sum and not on the individual cases.

 

FedEx then breaks this summed weight back down into pieces. The end result is high quotes (which scares customers off) and total packages indicated by FedEx in the checkout do not match the shopping cart total of pieces.

 

In short, how do I:

 

1. Specify multiple boxes per product;

2. Include weights and measures per individual box;

3. Ping shippers with these itemized boxes, together with both weights and measures;

4. Get rate quotes and boxes-shipped return messages that match the OSC shopping cart?
