phpmyadmin

phpmyadmin will/should be installed on the server, by your webspace provider.

If you have an account panel, you should be able to click on a link within that to 'manage mysql database' or similar.

 

If not, email your server admin, to get the url to the phpmyadmin/index.php

THX,

I have called them. It is in there but how can i transfer file to database. It show home and admin under there nothing at all it says Database admin running on localhost how can i upload files such as address book address format etc on the left side In Home.

I have done database so far and try to Run athe Install I went to catalog/install/install.php and fillout the forms and when click on continue it give me this messate Host ' ' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server. Can you please tell me what is the problems

Don't follow your words too closely, but from what I understand it reads as if you've either not got phpMyAdmin and you want it, or you have it, but you can't upload textfiles to import into it.

 

You can download and install phpMyAdmin yoursself, get it from http://www.phpmyadmin.net/

 

If the latter is your problem, some hosts don't allow those kinds of uploads. Read a post on here in the last week that explained how you could prove if that's the case, but I can't see it now, I'll reply again if I come across it.
