AtleB Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Hi. I hawe installed osCommerce Merchant v2.2 RC2a and i hawe got this massage. Warning: session_save_path(): SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid/gid is 211295/211295 is not allowed to access /tmp owned by uid/gid 0/0 in /hsphere/local/home/digitims/digitims.com/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 169 I contakted my host (Surftown) and they told me this: This occurs because safe_mode is enabled on all our web hosting services. This is unfortunately not something we have to turn off. However, it seems to the problem can be solved by giving the directory / tmp write permissions. I cant fint the directory / tmp Is it some one how cold point me in the rigth direktion ? Regards.
