osCommerce / Paypal Website Payments Standard

I am quite familiar with the osCommerce and used it in the past, and not too afraid to modify the php code (lightly)

 

One of my clients has a current web site that is designed as static HTML in dreamweaver and SOE is done.

 

She is using "Paypal Website Payments Standard" just the "Add To Cart" button. Cart is hosted at paypal and the payment processing is done by paypal as well. This part she is not too satisfied with it due to the limitations of the paypal cart and checkout procedures.

 

She also has her own payment gateway and merchant service that she uses for non online sales.

 

I would like to use osCommerce just like she is using paypal.... Without touching her HTML code too much, Add To Cart button goes to shopping cart and then checkout.

 

Is this possible so I can use the static pages to add to cart, and when you click on the link of product that is already in your cart, that will go back to static HTML page?

 

I understand that I still need to create the entire store database behind the static pages.

 

I know, I am probably not making much sense at the moment but any help will be greatly appreciated.
