Hello World,

I was hoping to ascertain whether or not this function is available yet or is it still under development. If it is the latter, any idea when it should be ready, up and running, working properly? It is the way forward, it is the Future.

Any one have any idea can you please post them.

Alternatively send pop it on my blog site http://www.megapest.com/blog/?p=42

Thanks all.

Hey Robert,

I'm getting a bit confussed, hopefully you can shed some light for me and others.

I originally installed Ultimate SEO URLs v2.1d ORIGINAL updated by you 7 Nov 2008.

My version of osC has also been updated with all the edits for MySQL 5 & PHP 5.

I have recently noticed a problem with Product Notification/Log-In as seen here - Link to post #4358.

Jack also has a similar problem and has to look into it.

But he noticed a problem with my website URL's, they contain hyphens between words, such as -

http://handeshobbies.com/1927-ford-model-police-p-651.html

So Jack recommends that I update to his latest version, Link to post #4368.

What exactly is the difference between your new contrib and the one by Chemo maintained by Jack?

Which one do you recommend now that I've already got one installed?

I appreciate any guidance or recommendations you can offer. wink.gif

Well I don't agree with this .. it is bad practice to have spaces in the uri, hyphens are perfect as Google recognises these as separators.

Spaces although they often work are illegal characters in *nix uris .. also ..

Spaces are generally a bad idea with anything website related. Often spaces in URLs will be encoded as %20 (which looks ugly) or will cause some browsers to misinterpret the filename. Spaces in URLs should be avoided.

I used to maintain series 2 as you know but it is old hacked about and buggy .. to see the difference read the support topic ..

I stopped maintaining series two for the above mentioned reason and to start a new modern and clean code base that remains constantly in controlled development.

Thank you Robert!

I'll get busy reading through the support thread.

I assume the contribution is compatable with my updated MS2 2.2?

I appreciate the help thumbsup.gif
