Hello,

I've installed oscommerce at ambiancehome.ca since long site is working fine, but in recent past site is being hacked / compromised several times. I've found so many malicious files on the sever, now removed.

my current host is having php and mysql version as below. is this could be the cause ?

mysql : 4.1.22-standard

PHP 4.4.9 (cli) (built: Oct 26 2009 02:37:53)

Zend Engine v1.3.0, Copyright © 1998-2004 Zend Technologies

Now my host said they will migrate my account to another server with php, mysql 5

Server version: 5.0.81-community MySQL Community Edition (GPL)

PHP 5.2.9 (cli) (built: Aug 17 2009 01:35:24)

Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright © 1998-2009 Zend Technologies

I've found some known issues with this migration

There are known issues with PHP4 to PHP5 migration however might be able to step-over it by upgrading existing version of catalog/includes and admin/includes folders with new one. Not sure about latest version of Oscommerce though.
