My problem is I designed a website in a site builder then found out that after working on it for 4 months, it couldn't do what I needed to do and was referred to Os Commerce. I really tried to understand OS but I have limited HTML experience so I asked someone for help with experience. They to are having problems because they never used OS before. My 1st question is to change colors and add text I need to install STS, am I correct? I only need it to be green for color. Question(2): Can I link OS to my old site, because my site is informational and shopping? Question (3): If not, can pages be added? I've added alot of products, so that was easy. I'm using OS v2.2RC2. Thank you for your consideration.
burt Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 "install STS, am I correct" No - you do not need to install STS to do anything at all. To change colours, it's mostly done in the stylesheet.css file. To change text is mostly done by amending files in notepad, then uploading.

I realized after reading alot of posts that STS is to change look. And, sometimes when you look outside of the box your able to see other solutions. I found away to link the pages I wanted to add to OS Commerce, hopefully they will work. Again thank you all for your consideration.
