Tax on price only when logged in

Is there a trick to getting the prices on my site to show with tax other than the configuration value i have available in the admin area?

i have the "show prices with tax" value set to "true" but only when a customer logs in they see my products inc tax, can i insert a code in the header.php to overide or push all the pages that display prices to display + tax? thats all i can think of that would solve my problem seeing as there is only one thing thats possible atm and that doesnt work.
