zefeena Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 When you go through checkout and get to the bit where it shows your billing address and you choose payment method i have somehow added a bit of text which i need to get rid of. Can anyone tell me where I edit this text please!! (please be specific i can never find these things!) It looks like this. As seen by customer on check out (underlined bit needs deleting!) Billing Address Please choose from your address book where you would like the invoice to be sent to. Billing Address: Customer as per paypal slip Your order has not been logged on our website You do not need to do anything!, Note: Thankyou, United Kingdom By the way for those in the UK (postal strikes!) a customer has just let me know about www.collectplus.co.uk - might help! Running a botched up version of osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.4 bootstrap with the dresscode theme installed, numerous add-ons, terrible coding, terrible website, but will have to make do until I have made up for my losses and can risk shutting down for a couple of weeks while I start all over again. - I did not install my program but am endeavouring to fix it with your help.
FIMBLE Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Hi It depends on how it was added, could have been referenced to your catalog / includes / languages / english / checkout_payment.php or it could have been hard coded to the actual catalog / checkout_payment.php, though as its also your payment page which include payment modules it could also have been added to a module page. Do you have a URL, and a test account so we are able to see it in action? This will give us a better idea (i hope) Nic Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions
zefeena Posted October 26, 2009 Author Posted October 26, 2009 Hi, I have sorted it (i think). I have been thru everthing and finally found it, though i can't remember where now - god what a nightmare that there is a file in every folder by the same name! thanks Running a botched up version of osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.4 bootstrap with the dresscode theme installed, numerous add-ons, terrible coding, terrible website, but will have to make do until I have made up for my losses and can risk shutting down for a couple of weeks while I start all over again. - I did not install my program but am endeavouring to fix it with your help.
itstrong Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Hi, I have sorted it (i think). I have been thru everthing and finally found it, though i can't remember where now - god what a nightmare that there is a file in every folder by the same name! thanks Yeah, it would have been nice (although it would have required the programmer to write a few more lines of code for every module instead of just being able to cut/paste) for every discrete page to have a prefix, like, admin_english.php etc. instead of having several of the same .php in different folders. Really bad organization and file nomenclature. You should never have files with the same name in a system as complex as this one is.
