ebuygadgets.com Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Hi everyone. Im quite new to all this but I have some knowledge of HTML and websites. What Im wanting to do is replace the horrible site name which appears in all my emails and use my logo which I have uploaded. In the video tutorial section is clearly tells you by changing the site logo it will automatically add it to your emails but this is not the case. Can someone help with this? Also id like to change the default emails that are sent out when you update the customer on the status of their order. Ive searched and searched using the FTP file manager but cant find the files or email templetes. Many thanks again, Ryan www.ebuygagdets.com

burtonsnow8 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Anyone?......... Please?! For one, you should read the security info. filemanager.php is a known exploitable file and should be removed. Check it out over here: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/topic/313323-how-to-secure-your-site/ I'll look for the files to edit now and let you know if i find anything.

If you log in and go to "My Store" you can change the name and email. The image you need to substitute for the logo is in the images folder and it's called "oscommerce.png". The easiest way is to create a logo and name it the same thing and upload it to your server. Good luck.

npn2531 Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 The emails that are sent to the customer when you update their order status in the admin panel are buried in the code of the file admin/orders.php You can use my contribution here if you would like to customize them with additional text and images, etc http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6389.
