TB-303 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I've searched as much as I can and while I have seen the flash player contribution, it seems that the download link to version 2 is no longer valid? I did try an earlier version of the player, but couldn't get it functioning properly and I also want more functionality than the old versions offer anyhow. So, please help! Are there any other options? I thought about using something like this type of flash player: http://emff.sourceforge.net/ but I'm not sure what page the <head> script info would go into and also if it would then work to put the rest of the player code into the product description? More about the store I am working on... installed V2.2RC2 of osC. The store will offer both tangible goods (ie. t-shirts) as well as music downloads. I would like to have a basic audio player as part of the product description for the music download products and ideally the player would have play, stop/pause controls as well as a progress bar that can be moved to different parts of the audio file. Thanks goes out to the community for a great product. Any help / solutions / suggestions would be fantastic!

TB-303 Posted October 27, 2009 Author Posted October 27, 2009 Has anyone gotten osPlayer to work properly with v2.2 RC2? Not having much luck :(
TB-303 Posted October 27, 2009 Author Posted October 27, 2009 Well, I think I've figured out a simple way to get audio previews where I want them in the product pages. Using the basic version of this player: http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/ and putting the embed code in the product description seems to work fine. Not the best solution perhaps, but it works! Oh, and for whatever reason there must be a product image uploaded for it to work :)
