fastway v 1.0

Hi guys,

 

I am wondering if somebody has had a similar problem.

I have installed the module fastway v 1.0 for Australian courier shipping ( fastway.php,v 1.0 ). I got this module from Snowtech.com.au as that is the only place where it can be downloaded (for free)

 

The module looks simple enough, copy the files to correct locations and update sql. Once I do that I go to admin panel -> modules -> shipping but the new module is not there, also most of my already installed modules are not there either!

 

If I go to my modules directory and delete or rename fastway.php my other shipping modules show up in modules -> shipping again.

 

Has anybody heard of such a problem before?

I haven't had that problem Treeman, but i'm having a lot of problems with this module.I'm beginning to think that (if faced with a number of entries with the same Postcode) it just selects the first one it comes across, regardless of the different Zone Number. Overall it seems to be only about 90-95% accurate - which clearly isn't good enough.

Thanx for the tip, looks like it might not be worth the hassle pursuing this module. I will modify a module like tnt to use fastway rates sometime in the future
