multimixer Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 You need to go to your phpMyAdmin, select your osCommerce database and then press import and choose the sql file that you need. Backup your database before doing this ! My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel

multimixer Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 What you did is to back up your database, not the complete store. Files are not backed up in that way. But ok, the point was to backup the db phpMyAdmin has a backup function of course, called "export" My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel

multimixer Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 No, after it says that import was successful you don't need to do anything. Logically you have now a new table in the database or new fields in existing databases. What you do now is 1) Take one more DB backup 2) Check your contribution if it works My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
