I am new to oscommerce i need some help on sts templatate. i am successfully installed the sts template system. and new my new html file is configured up to that it is working but after that i got a problem there in header part and menu part and left colum and content part i got some variables like

menu part $home | $contact | $check_orders | $faq .

actually i want home | contact | checkorders |faqs like that and links are also not working.

 

where did i want to change in my files to work the links .

I suggest you to read first other issues users had in the past, to the highest possibility you'll have the same issues. Also post all your questions there.

 

To your particular issue: You will find in the sts documentation (folder /docs/) a list of all placeholders that you can use in your template. The tags you mention are NOT predefined, thats why it appears just $faq. How should the system know what you mean with this? So you need to do it your self, to say what $hello means. There are instructions in the documentation about this too
