Make sure that the index.php in the catalog or root directory has the actual php page code and not the DEFINE's (these should be found in your catalog/includes/languages/LANGUAGE NAME/index.php. Best advice I can give without being able to see what it is doing. Frank
nittos50 Posted October 22, 2009 Author Posted October 22, 2009 I left out the most important thing, my apologies. The URL is: http://midweststreetperformance.com/catalog/ I was pretty sure that i uploaded it to the English dir, I did a search before I posted this and read a few similar topics but none of the fixes helped. if i did, is there a default index i can download to replace the one i overwrote (if i in fact did upload to the wrong dir). many thanks again tony
rescuestat Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Tony, What version of osCommerce are you running? and what version of PHP/MySQL. Make sure you are using the current version of osC(RC2 or RC2a). Also make sure that your PHP is running correctly. It appears that none of your php pages are loading, although they are being found since I don't get a 404 error. This tends to make me beleive there is either a problem with the PHP installation on your server or perhaps a version mismatch between you osCommerce and PHP. I say this from experience, my host just upgraded to PHP5.2 and my MS2.2 version of osCommerce quit on me. Took 2 days for me to finally get an answer from my host that they upgraded the PHP and didn't tell anyone. As far as having a default index.php, it's a good idea to have keep clean install as a backup...Just in case. If you don't have a way of getting a clean install, let me know and I can send you the file-although it does't appear that this is problem with the page actually. Frank
