I know most of you aren't going to bother reading this or replying but I am having major issues with this site http://www.shturl.com//os sites speed. I run on a cable connection and it is fine. But the sites owner is running it on a usb connection and is having major issues. He said he is not the only one.

Any help appreciated.

this site is not slow, however there are a couple of pages that not fully load all the time, eg. your index.php, specials.php (waiting to load at least one element)

and your reviews page is not ok

ps. check done with Opera

edit:

now all pages are working fine, loading_wise ;)

so, you only need to take a look at the reviews :)

Cheers for the reply Peter. There is nothing on the reviews page atm, so not sure why that would be going slow.

Could this be a validation/mark up issue?

Site is slow at times in ie7 (appearing to hang at times on selecting a category), fine in firefox, I also note ie reports script errors in category menu, though thats incidental, as still slow with scripts off.

I suggest you validate with w3c to fix.

Going to your site in Safari brings up a huge security warning. Something about

asfirey.com

Thanks Knifeman. This is basically my worst nightmare now. I'm just about to put up a redirect. I directed the owner to getacoder.com and now not only is there 72 errors they have either installed a virus knowingly or not.

I told them to back up before that, so about to get that sorted. The worst thing is that they have a bunch of advertising going out tomorrow. So i need URGENT HELP ;(

Any trusted members here interested in fixing this mark up ? We will pay.
