SQL issues installing Option Type v2

First, is it alright to add the latest Option Type contribution to OSC 3.0?

 

Second, I loaded the files per the instructions, but I get errors when I try to run the SQL. It wants to update tables that don't already exist (products_options), and it wants to make a change to products_attributes, but it's in my DB as product_attributes (no "s").

 

Third, I'm new to these kinds of forums. Have I put this question in the right place, or should I be somewhere more Option Type v2 - specific?
