adding PayPal Website Payments Pro to an older version of osCommerce (6.15)

Hi, We recently purchased PayPal Website Payments Pro. I checked with creloaded in regards to adding this to our older version of osCommerce, as we did a lot of customization work to our cart and are reluctant to replace it. I was told it should work, but no guarantees and no support, sigh. So, it is not working, and I am a novice when it comes to php.

The PayPal buttons show up, which appear to be click-able, although there is still a radio button to select in order to proceed to PayPal. The buttons go to this blank page: https://biotech-calendar.authsecure.com/ec_process.php?markflow=1&clearSess=1&osCsid=f737f7ef15886890b75f5c119c0e8c7e

When we tried to set up a new customer, we got this error message: 054 - Unknown column 'customers_paypal_ec' in 'field list'

select customers_id as id, customers_paypal_ec as ec from customers where customers_email_address = '[email protected]'

[TEP STOP]

Also, the only way to have PayPal show up in the shopping cart also generates an option for customer to directly enter cc info in our shopping cart, which we do not want. And when a customer did, we had to call to actually get the number, as it goes nowhere (hopefully). This is very disconcerting, as we want to keep our customer secure.

Is this all because the cart is older? I can select PayPal, but only if I include the standard version, so not sure if the Pro even works. I am enclosing 2 pics of this.PPWPP.gifPP.gif

I know this is a lot of questions, so thank to anyone out there who can help!
