Select which products display on index.php page

I have osCommerce v2.2 set up and running. My client wants to know if they can select which products will or will not display on the index.php page.

 

Example... she sells home made candy and products relevant to South Dakota. She does not want her packaging supplies to display on the home page. They should only display if someone chooses the category of Packaging Supplies. Is there an add on to do this?

Do a search in the contributions section for"featured products". It's exactly what you need

I found this one but don't think it is what I want. Featured Products v1.6.4. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong. In the backend, the admin would have another field when entering a product that would be "display on home page" and only those checked would display.

Thats exactly what featured products are doing: You choose from admin what to display on the front page.
