OSC Multiple Stores: Shared Code

Hey everyone,

 

It strikes me that asides from the two configuration files and the stylesheets (and the DB of course) that all of the files are identical. Therefore I am wondering if anyone has any ideas (in order to simplify installing contributions across all stores) to maintain shared code for all sites (i.e. have all of the files except those mentioned earlier) on a separate domain and then referenced by each domain when needed)

 

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated,

Did you find out more information regarding this post? We're considering doing the same thing and learned there are certain files that will need to be unique to each site, including header.php and configure.php.
