diy Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I Accidentally deleted a product which had a nice search rating - Now when you click the search term the product is not found ! Can i assign that product id (say 449) to the new product (when I added the product it got a new product id) or is there a way to say the product is over there!! Come to think of it is there a module to tell customers product not found but show related ???? PS I mean choose a specific product id

You can change the product_id of an existing product in phpMyAdmin, but you would have to ensure you made the same change in all the product tables for that product and anywhere else that product appears in (reviews, orders etc) Sam Remember, What you think I ment may not be what I thought I ment when I said it.
