Danny74 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 How can I make my pages automatically the same width of the user's browser window? I adjusted the FAQ, About Us, Contact Us and other pages, but I can't figure out how to adjust the index page. Can someone please help as it is almost 1.5 times wider than the others. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for looking. How did you adjust the FAQ/About us? Are you using CSS and are you using the standard template that comes with OSCommerce or do you have your own custom design? Danny74 Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 How did you adjust the FAQ/About us? Are you using CSS and are you using the standard template that comes with OSCommerce or do you have your own custom design? I remember using OSCommerce TAS (Template Automated System), but I was wondering if I could just plug in a code that would adjust the index page. I had to recently replace the index page on my site because it "disappeared!" Can you believe that? I have everything complete except for the width issue.
spax Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 By default, osC uses width percentages on the actual pages and usually 100%. The only fixed width value being that for the columns (default value 125). For your index page to be 1.5 times the width of others, something in there is making it do that. If you haven't changed the code, it will probably be an image that is doing it.
