sub catagoies font color/ info box

hi

 

is it possable to change the font color in the sub catargoies only in the catargoies box ( main site not admin)

 

EG

catagoier

DC Comics would be black

 

sub catagoier

Batman would like it to be blue

 

this is so it stands out

 

also is it possable to add or alter a box so that it has infomation in it only and does not link any were( left or right side coloms) i have taken some boxes out that i don't need could i use one of these

 

any help would be greatfull
