Problem with Country entry must be selected

The country field is giving some of my new clients a problem. I have orders coming through and it works for most but for some it does not.

 

Here is what a customer said today.

 

I tried to purchase videos. As I signed up on the Account information page, the system refused to let me "continue". The prompt displayed states " Country " must be selected. I had selected United States but it would not recognize this. I tried seven times and quit trying. Thought you might want to know.

 

Any help would be great.

I am using a older 2.2 version of osc. Maybe I should update to the milestone one.

 

The problem seems to be with some netscape browsers in Windows and Mac. With IE I can make the country change no problem or make a new account but with netscape it comes back and says there needs to be something in that field.

Any Ideas... is anyone else having this problem or did I make a modification that may of messed it up.

I think the problem may of started when I added SSL to the site... Could the netscape browser be sensitive to a problem with the SSL pages or a minor fault within the page.

 

I have tried making changes to an account with both Windows and Mac IE and it works fine. But not in Netscape. It always comes up with that I need to enter a country.

 

Also new accounts can't be created within Netscape only IE...
