I need to integrate stock levels sold over the web with things sold at my shop. Can OS Commerce do this and can anyone recommend inventory/Invoicing/management software that works well with it?

Most of these will require some sort of ERP software that links the two databases. other than manually editing each file at the end of the day this is the best way i know of.

I've been using Microsoft Access, matched some database tables with my shops osC database and then use phpMyadmin to upload and download as needed.

Getting ready to switch over to Quick Books Pro. Hopefully that will be a little easier with the added contribution.

There is an integration with e-conomic.com under development - which would allow you to sync oscommerce stock with your accounts software. You can PM me for more details.

Where osC falls down is that there is no attribute/ variant stock system built in.

Would that affect you? If you sell things like T-Shirts, each colour, gender, size, material combination is a separate stock item...although you might only have one product set-up in osCommerce.

We were looking closely at QTPro, which does extend osC's functionality:

I don't know how the QB importer handles this area - would be good if someone who has used it could update the threat on how it deals with mapping products to stock items.

If your shop system can create a csv file of part no and qty there is an add ons getprice/qty and another for xml feeds that can be used/modded.

Easy Populate could also be used.

Cheers
