Hi guys.

I have a very strange problem with my oscommerce email. The email works fine to some adresses but not to others. I am recieving my copy of order confirmations but some costumers aren't. My transport method is currently set to sendmail and my linefeeds is set to LF but I have tried other combinations.

I have searched everywhere for a sullotion but nothing works for me. I have ran the email test php file and that one sends e-mails to hotmail accounts.

I have no idea where the fault is in the code, but I can post code here from any file if anyone has ideas. Anyone who can solve this is my personal hero, as I've spent alot of time trying to fix it.

Thanks

//Johan

Need to check from server settings like mail function of php language to MX records or simply your server on the black list of hotmail service.

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

multimixer, It's hard to specify what is wrong. When placing orders, only some customers get confirmation emails, and it seems to be domain based. Gmail, mail.com and hotmail. accounts never get any emails.

The problem shouldn't be on my server since I've run the email test file and it sends emails to hotmail so I figured something else must be wrong.

Suggestion:

For awhile I had the same problem, At least it sounds like the same problem, were i couldn't get any of my customers with hotmail accounts to receive my e-mails. I contacted my hosting provider and they got everything fixed. As web-project noted your server may be on there blacklist. I am still working with my host to clear me from gmail accounts, as I am getting more customers with gmail accounts and as always there not getting my e-mail. I highly suggest checking on this. :)

If you are running your own server or vps, it's very easy to detect if your server/ip address blacklisted, you can get the statistic report about email (Mail Delivery Stats), looking at "List of errors" you can notice the 550 error, this error specific for emails been rejected from your server for a specific reasons (examples: email account doesn't exist or IP address is blacklisted).

To get the emails through to any free email services, you need to have enabled & correct the following options:

1) MX records

2) SPF

3) DomainKeys

4) clean/white-listed ip address
