Having trouble with OSC uploading images into my catalog

I have installed OSC and set the permissions, etc.

I am now trying to load product information and images into my catalog through the "admin" browser address.

I can get the attributes, part numbers, descriptions, and so forth to go in correctly.

However when I try to upload an image to the site, through the 'admin' secion, it only shows "preview" and "cancel", which will delete the file name once you go that far...

Being a "newbie" I assume there is a simple setting that I don't have correct somewhere.

Would someone offer some suggestions, please?

Thanks,

Randy Fletcher

normally you have to hit "preview", this will take you to a page that'll show your pictures, text, etc. There you'll have a button named "update" (or similar). Do you mean the file gets deleted even when you hit preview?

I notice that your shop pops a warning:

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: Catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

You must set permissions correctly on the configure file once the install is done: 644, 444, or 400 depending on your server.

Thanks for responding. I went through the normal process of inserting the image for uploading, and press 'preview' but the file image doesn't show up in the preview ( the text description does), and when you hit cancel it goes back to the same form, with no image selected.
