My website is a fair way towards completion, but not ready yet to be uploaded to a hosted server. I want to test oscommerce offline at this stage and I've downloaded it to my hard disc, but I really can't see any way to use it except to upload it to a website. Surely there's a routine way to do this - it seems an ordinary requirement. Thanks.
♥ecartz Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Search for XAMPP or "osCommerce localhost" on Google. Note that things will be easier if you use an older version with PHP 5.2 rather than the latest with 5.3. Always back up before making changes.
