scarlett07 Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Help. After a month ++ in the hospital, I am finally home and can't login to my site because I can't remember password and username. Is there a way for me to retrieve it or reset it? Your help appreciated.
germ Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 If the password is in the osC DB then Reset Admin Password If it's a .htaccess password, you would retrieve, or change it via your web host cPanel. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. I downloaded the file to reset Admin Password to my public html file but don't know what to do with it. I do not even know if it is an .htaccess password or not. Is there a way I can find out? My store has been down for a couple of weeks now. All the time I put into it is up in smoke if I can not figure out how to log back into oscommerce. CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME?????
germ Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 If it's a small box that pops up in the middle of your page it's .htaccess If it's a "full blown webpage" it's stored in your osC DB (in which case the contribution I linked to should work).
