cappegio Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Hello, I have installed osCommerce into http://www.xxx.com/osCommerce,'>http://www.xxx.com/osCommerce, being http://www.xxx.com my domain. The installation has successfully ended, but I got an error when i started admin panel by typing http://www.xxx.com/osCommerce/admin. The page is automatically redirected to http://www.xxx.com/admin/login.php?osCAdminID=v0kltob6dotkb4rfnt and http://www.xxx.com/admin/login.php does not exist. I have the suspect that the installation into http://www.xxx.com/osCommerce is not allowed, but it is only possible into http://www.xxx.com/ or http://www.xxx.com/catalog ! Is my suspect true ? Thanks a lot.
spooks Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 your domain is irelavent, u are installing onto a server, u can use any directory u wish, ie for root install place in your public_html folder, if u wish within oscommerrce folder, place in public_html/oscommerrce, following the install your configure files should be set correct, but check that they are.
