Guest
gday mate: am researching this at the moment. am prob going to use eWay (eway.com.au) but the banks are the worst part. very unresponsive. sgb - excellent support and meant to be an very good partner, except costs are higher than others there is a good listing at: http://www.eway.com.au/pricing/banks.asp good luck - if you want to discuss more (like prices the banks are offering, pm me as I would be interested in finding what they offer yourself) cheers, tim. frankl
I did alot (believe me, it was alot!) of research on this one, and found the best solution was a St George/eWay combo. (St George is also BankSA). After several false starts that took forever to get an answer with a couple of other banks when applying for an internet start-up merchant facility, St George approved us in 3 days. Our rate is set at 2%, very reasonable. eWay I found not particularly helpful on specific things relating to PHP and osCommerce but very good with everything else. In the end we knew we could get good support for PHP etc. in the osCommerce community so we weren't too worried about that. After 4 months their only downtime was for one night due to blackouts in their office caused by the bushfires in Canberra where their office is based. Good luck with your site. Frank osCommerce user since 2003!
