Adding a Currency

Can someone post a link to how to simply add a currency correctly.

 

The online manuals simply don't show enough detail.

 

e.g. I would like to set GBP so it would disply as for example £30.00, but when you display 2 decimal places it says the display will be £3000.

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you set up the decimal and thousands points correctly?

I have:

code: GBP

symbol (left or right): £

decimal point: .

thousands point: ,

decimal places: 2

value: whatever the value is
