Change Welcome message on main page

I found this info about changing the Welcome message, however, I cannot find this in the file. anywhere else i might find it?

 

3. … Change the Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in? Or would you prefer to create an account on the front page?

Go to catalog/includes/languages/English/index.php

Find the following line and change it to what you want it to say

it's really in includes/languages/english.php

 

you probably searched for: Welcome Guest! Would you like to (etc..)

 

where you should have searched for: Welcome <span class="greetUser">Guest!</span> Would you like to (etc..)
