Product and category descriptions not in html

I have added the contributions to include tinyMCE for my product descriptions and have added the subcategory text box contribution in order to allow descriptions for our categories as well.

Everything looks good all the way up until I actually submit the changes. Once submitted all of my html gets converted into text and I get a block of text, not the formatted version I see in dreamweaver/previews.

Any ideas as to why everything is being output into text when it should be in html?

u would be best asking this in the tinyMCE support thread, more likely to find someone familier with the contrib u used & its foibles then. wink.gif

well its not a problem with tinyMCE, it is a problem when I submit the information. Once submitted it gets converted into a paragraphed text. I'll have something like this:

 <script language="javascript"><!--
function popupWindow(url) {
window.open(url,'popupWindow','toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=no,resizable=yes,copyhistory=no,width=100,height=100,screenX=150,screenY=150,top=150,left=150')
}
//--></script>
<p>
For the ultimate small block Ford street car, you´ve got to use
AFR´s all new 165cc emissions legal aluminum cylinder heads. Unlike
some aftermarket heads, AFR´s performance cylinder heads (CARB EO #250-3) fit
all your stock components; no special parts are required! With lightweight 8mm 1.900
intake valves, 1.600 exhaust valve, combustion chamber
volume of 58cc, and 68cc exhaust ports, AFR´s new
165cc is perfect for 289 and 302 engines operating from
idle to 6000 rpm. A 3/4" thick head deck makes it
ideal for nitrous or blower applications. These heads will not accept rail rocker
arms. Hardened push rods required on all applications.
Note: 1986 5.0L must have piston notched for clearance.</p>
<h4>Note:</h4>
Hydraulic roller cams typically experience valve float at 6000-6200
rpm because of their fast ramp rates. AFR suggests you upgrade your
springs to AFR part #8047, 1.290 O.D. with higher spring pressures
to reduce chances of valve float associated with rpm´s 6200 or
higher. (<a href="http://www.airflowresearch.com/sbf_footnote.php">see footnotes here</a>)

The reason I believe it is site-wide is because I also experience this problem when using the subcategories textbox contribution, which doesn't use the tinyMCE interface.

Personally I use FCK to add html descriptions, that works without issue on rc1 & rc2a stores, so it should work, unless its an issue perculiar to the version u r using

but it could be due to the mode u use tinymce in, but I'm not familier with that app.

I personally used all these contribs about 1 week ago and they worked flawlessly. I had to start my site from scratch due to security issues and now these are not working.

I really think its more than just a tinymce error because when using subcategories textbox (which doesn't use tinymce) I still am unable to save html, it just converts it to text.
