rjckicks1 Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Hi, I've moved a site from one server to another for someone, and it seems that the site has something setup where some urls go from php to HTML. I checked SEO URL's and it's turned off. You can see the old site here - http://japan.acgears.com And the new site here - https://acgears.jp/index.php If you click on the right hand side under the login form the text "新規登録" which is for new account creation, the link goes to a page saying there is no such page ( if I change the html to php in the address bar it works). But, if I type in the HTML url on the old website it works - http://japan.acgears.com/create_account.html It seems some kind of URL change thing is not functioning on the new website as it was on the old website. What changes the URL's to HTML like this? Can I turn it off somehow? I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the htaccess file. The reason I'm trying to fix this is as of now the create new account link, a few other links, and also the news and topics section on the bottom center of the main page, when you click the read more button ( 続きを読む ) it goes to an HTML page also, which if I change the html to php the page works .. I'd appreciate any help! Thanks

rjckicks1 Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 Ok, I thought I tried what I just tried before, but this time around it worked. It did have to do with htaccess. Thanks for the hint :)
