chooch Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Hi, I have 2meg broadband and this new forum server is a lot slower than the other one, am i the only one experiencing this? Steve Since the upgrade I find it much slower than before Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere. CHOOCH
Ojibwa35 Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Since the upgrade I find it much slower than before I have to agree... 3 minutes just to log on is too looooooooooooooong. Don't like the functionality (or loss of) either!

Harald Ponce de Leon Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Hi All.. The performance will be back to normal tomorrow. The backend processing script parsing the forum postings has updated over half of the total postings on the forum. This processing is needed as part of the forum software upgrade. Kind regards, , osCommerce
