barry100 Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Hi all When I make a module for shipping installed from the admin section, the only zone available is the UK zone. Thats fare enough because my shop is uk based. The thing is when i changet eh zone in the shop zone in the "my shop" page it dosnt change in the shipping sections. The main problem is that I have installed a free shipping module (this one http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/146 ) And when the limit for shipping is reached and the shipping zone is set to "none" in the admin the module works fine but if i select UK from the drop menu the shipping wont let me select this option. Have a set the zones up wrong? or am i doing something else wrong? Any help would be great!!

satish Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Were You logged in with the customer who had UK as His zone. might be the default setting assumes Zone not to be UK. So check by creating an account for UK and login then check shipping. If You find login to UK still gives the logical error. The Your Shipping Zone to Zone created have some wrong configuarion done. barry100 Posted October 2, 2009 Author Posted October 2, 2009 I have checked the zones and they are set to uk The shop is stilll being made and I am currently the only customer. Satish what do you meen by your shipping zones to zones?
satish Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Shipping is delivery address based in general. Ok can You confirm what was Your delivery address Zone. Try 'shipping module' admin setting to none for zones and check if it starts showing shipping then definitely Your Zones setting needs to be looked in.
